Flight School
Ponderosa Air is a career focused Flight School with the most advanced aircraft available. Our primary trainers are IFR equipped with G-1000 avionics. We are able to take students from their primary training through commercial Multi-engine ratings using a variety of aircraft.
Ponderosa is located in central long Island, New York on Republic Airport. We have numerous students fly in for our 10 day Instrument course and our commercial ratings. Ponderosa has numerous accommodations for our out of state clients including daily pick-up and drop off for training. Call for pricing.
Flight school instructors all have at least 10,000 hours of airline commercial and/or instruction experience. These are the people that day after day produce safe competent pilots, whether you’re just looking for your private license or you want to become one of the few “The Commercial Pilot” these individuals will take you there.
